You may have noticed something new on your Facebook recently?

Facebook introduced Stories, a new feature that allows users share photos and videos that then disappear after 24 hours.  Sound Familiar?

Well, If you are a Snapchat user this will be something that you’ve already been doing for some time now.

Similarly, Instagram which was bought by Facebook for $1 billion in 2012, their users will already be familiar with this function.

A function originally created by Snapchat as “Snapchat Stories”, Instagram soon rolled out a similar feature on their app.

This function’s growing popularity has now seen this introduced to our Facebook feeds.
Essentially, a pinching the renowned “Snapchat Stories” idea….

Interestingly, as you may know, Facebook offered $3 billion to buy Snapchat 4 years ago (2013).  Snapchat co-founder Evan Speigel (aged 23) rejected, deeming the company worthy of a better offer.
